~ Nov 2011... Scary Tales! From Grimm to Lovecraft ~
The Scarier Tales of the Brothers Grimm in 3D! Scary Tales premiered on the brand-new network 3Net at the end of October to some very positive reviews. Every package of DirecTV includes this network, but unfortunately for those of us who do not yet own a 3D capable HDTV.... We'll just have to upgrade. HP Lovecraft Fans: “The Whisperer in Darkness!” Has been screening all over the World to rave reviews and much-deserved awards! It's an Eldritch HIT! More details can always be found here. The H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast. Hilarious and insightful hosts Chris Lackey and Chad Fifer have invited me back to read for another episode in the continuing saga of Randolph Carter. In episode 95, they explore the text, "Through the Gates of the Silver Key." Hoodwinked Too: Hood vs Evil! I voice “Klaus” the yodeling ninja accountant who arrives just in time to save the day, as well as "Hench Pig #4" who has great news to share from his doctor. (Watch for him in the official trailer) Our cast is again peopled by Hollywood’s finest, including Hayden Panettiere, Joan Cusack, Patrick Warburton, Glenn Close, Amy Poehler, Andy Dick, Martin Short, David Ogden Stiers, Rob Paulsen and many others. Super Street Fighter IV: Finally unveiled their latest character in the ever-popular PS3 game. Hakan, the Turkish Oil Wrestler. I put in over five hours of studio time voicing various scenarios, so Hakan will have a lot to say in his own special way. New Generation handled the voice casting and studio recording for the English version of the game. The official launch party for the game included an oil wrestling match announced by yours truly. “Fear Lives Here” Is nearing completion. It's a feature-Length Psychological Horror film directed by Michael Chase Gordon and produced by Ben Bray, Michael Gordon, Frank Torres and Tina Sen. STORY LINE: Five friends get stranded in the woods only to find themselves as unwilling participants in a deadly game with a boy that's been dead for decades. Paul Darrigo and I get to work together again playing happless cop partners in a couple of scenes that delightfully balance horror with comic relief. Very fun to film and hopefully as fun to watch. “Sister of Night” can now be found on the IMDB, so I guess it's ready for the festival circuit, and now you can see the latest trailer by clicking here. BTW I saw a screening of this film several months ago, and I must say that Shawn Marchetti (Director/Writer/Cinematographer/Editor) did an amazing job creating a fresh, intriguing and very watchable independant film. Looking forward to hearing more about it's distribution.
“NightShift Audio Productions,” is more or less on hold while we go through the process of adopting three beautiful girls. In fact, a lot of things are having to be put on hold as we rise to the added responsibilities of parents. If it doesn't kill us, it will make us stronger. This is gonna be the best year ever!
